I am looking for feedback on a Delta router/shaper sh100 as an economical combination mach. in a very small (12×24′) shop, as an alternative to a separate table router and jointer. I am worried about the 12,500 rpm spindle speed and 9amp power being adequate for weeked work with small hardwood cabinet projects.

I am looking for information on a Delta bench top router shaper. My search brought up your earlier query. Did you ever recieve any information? Did you buy one? If you bought one I would sure like to know how you like it. i am thinking of getting one instead of a router with separate table and fence the Delta is actually cheaper. As you were I am wondering if the RPM is too slow and may chatter.

I have one (earlier model number) - works OK, but collet and bit locking nut are cheap soft steel. 1/4" collet broke apart (not in use, but trying to get bit off) - actually looked like it was made from cheap pot metal by look of fracture. Count on skinned knuckles every time you change bits - poorly thought out system and super cheap/think wrenches. I'm also seeing to rounding off of the locking nut flats, and there is hardly enough surface to get anything other than the thin wrenches supplied on the arbor and nut.
The table surface area is also small, and the fence is so-so. After some use, I find it difficult to tighten one side of the fence down, as the carriage bolt spins and won't lock in very easily.
I'd build a router table with a 3HP variable speed PC router instead (which I have).
