I would like to know about the Delta SH100 Shopmaster Bench Top Router/Shaper. I am considering to build a router table and buy a router that stays always there. My question is if the Delta machine is an alternative.
Thanks
Justo

I read several reviews on the SH100 shaper and the delta acheived 2.5 stars out of 5 overall. Most thought this machine was a poor performer. Check out epinions.com for the reviews. I talked to a few people who had trouble with aligning the fence. Some said it lacked power.
I looked at the Delta router/shaper a couple of years ago, and it was an immediate thumbs-down. The table is way too small, the fence is a 2-part fence that would be a royal PITA to set up. I didn't even get so far as to check the rating of the motor.
