I want to (SAFELY) make several 1/2″ square x ~ 1/4″ thick pieces of wood with a slightly beveled top on all four sides.

I want the edge thickness to be ~ 1/8″ and the bevels to meet in the center making a point.  These pieces will be used as decoratinve trim on small boxes.  There is probably an article someplace with info on a jig or a technique to do this, but I cant find it.
