Since you're in the building stage, my first comment is there seems to be growing concern regarding the corrosiveness of ACQ to fasteners. I can't substantiate it beyond having heard it more and more of late from a variety of locales. That being said, considering stainless fasteners at the moment seems prudent. Someone over at breaktime the other day commented on a year old deck they'd used galvanized on, and the fasteners were reduced to, I believe the comment was "orange mush".
As to finishing, for a nice color, I can't say enough good things about Sherwin Williams Cuprinol solid color deck stain / preservative. It's easy, it's latex, the color is solid and will mask the fact that you've got ACQ on there, and it seems to hold up very well. The oldest I can reference is a deck / overhang that I did three summers ago. It hasn't faded a lick, it gets high traffic, and our climate is pretty unforgiving on outdoor structures, since we go from 100 degree summers to minus temps/snow/etc in the winters. Conversely, some other products I've used I returned to reapply the next year. You can have it tinted if there's a specific color you want to match.

thank you , I have heard some things about ACQ and have considered using coated screws recommended by the lumber store? .
