I am in the process of restoring a backyard for my 2 dogs – a Weimaraner & Lab, who tore up the sod I placed down this past Sept..  One of the projects I would like to undertake in one small area is a low lying 12′ x 16′ ft. deck.  The earth is already level, but I am not sure which would make the appropriate “footing” for the frame.  I have been given several suggestions so far, but since I am a 5’2″ female doing this project on a tight budget by herself, I want to make this as easy and cost effective as possible without too much complication.  Any suggestions would be kindly appreciated!
