single handed operation with out any loss of control.
plus there is a trigger for on/off instead of a switch which makes starting/stoping the router safer and easier.
Milwaulkee makes a router with a hand sleave on it which has much the same effect.
Get the Bosch, you'll love it. Hands down the best hand held router available. It'll quickly beccome your go to router.
Not so good for a router table, though. I've got an old Ryobi RE-600 (I think that's the model #). Big 3 hp behemoth works great in the table but to unweildy for hand held operation.
