                 Hi repairman87 ,

         Depending on whats available in your area you might check with some of the saw sharpening shops for making custom cutters for you .Also just a thought check with a local mill working house or shop , see if they have the ability to run the stock for you .This certainly would cost you to have them run it for you , but by the time you have custom cutters made and spend your own time and labor to run it also , there may be little actual difference . The way I see it you could be productive in other money making ways while the other guy runs the stock for you , maybe .

   Where are you and how old is the original moulding? There's a place here in Milwaukee called Bliffert Lumber that specializes in old profiles. If it was a common one when the place was built, they may have access to it. Maybe you could draw the profile on paper and fax it to them. Their phone # is 414-383-4900

   they have a large number of quality bits (both shaper and router bits)

   and can and do make custom cutters.

   Many large custom milling shops cut their own knives and would mill whatever you want for you.  They sometimes have profile grinders but just as often they have an old guy in the grind shop who just cuts them by eye and is usually cheaper and better than the fancy machinery.  One such shop that went out of business here in Saint Louis a few years back had literally TONS of such knives that they had ground over many years of operation.
