I have a problem with the packing of my finished tables , it seems that the friction between the paper used to pack and the finished surface leaves traces on the finish with a light powdery effect , I wonder whow many days does it take for a nitrocellulose finish or a two component polyurethane finish tu cure completely before it can withstand this little friction during transportation , or is it possible that a light chemical reaction takes place between the paper and the finished surface ?. I always wait 2 days before packing .
Thanks

Jean-Paul I have had nitro finishes that would still finish print after 2 days of curing. I typically allow 5 days of curing before considering rubbing out. It will depend a great deal on the brand of finish and the formulation. You may want to do some experiments with other brands to see which product gives you the results you are looking for.
