I have cuban mahogany in Canada, from Cuba. Is it illegal to sell this item in the USA, or are there exceptions to the embargo? It seems a shame to deny woodworkers access to this beautiful and rare species.

About a year ago someone out of Florida got a batch and put it for sale. Can't be too impossible. Ask high dollar, you'll get it.

Cuban Mahogany grows in south Florida.

I'm in Nova Scotia, where are you? I would like to contact you to possibly purchase some of this wood. Let's talk!
Regarding purchasing Cuban Mahogany,
Call me at 905-793-4692, my name is Marv. I am available at that number sometimes during the day, and usually at night. If I am not there, leave a message. There is a little over 1000 bd ft available, 1" to 4" thick. The trees were damaged in a hurricane, the CITES documents are available, so it is not endangering the enviroment.
