Any ideas on cordless drill storage. Something like a holster on a shelf. I would like to store two cordless drill with charges on a shelf but I am tired of just throwing it flat. Not really effecient.
This may have been solved but I did give a reasonable search and came up empty.
Thanks

I store mine (well, 2 of 'em anyhow) on two pegboard brackets that extend out about 8". I just mount them to fit in front and behind the drills' handles. (This will only work on drills with a "bump-out" on the back side of the drill. My DeWalts have this, but the Mikita doesn't -- so it just lives on a shelf.)

Everything fits, until you put glue on it.
Drywall mud pails ,one for cordless, one for handplanes. Of course the No.1's drop to the bottom which is a pain ! <g>
I use something like this.
Now THAT'S cool! I'm makin' some!Mike HennessyPittsburgh, PAEverything fits, until you put glue on it.
Awesome. I new someone solved this so why reinvent the wheel.
I was going to suggest a two-stall corral in which they'd rest upside down. But Richard's solution is piping hot.
There actually is a pegboard bracket made especially for this. I can post a picture if you want. I think it was pretty cheap, but I don't remember the details of the purchase.

Thanks for all the input.
I took the pipe idea and changed it some. I made a box that was approximately 16" wide x 7" deep x 4" tall. I slotted the bottom panel similar to the pipe holder and placed spacers between two drills. I placed the chargers on top and hung it between two studs adjacent to the work bench. There is some room left on the first shelf which I will use for often used bits.
Thanks for the input
