Knotters:
I am interested in buying opening price point CNC machines. To me it looks like there are 3 basic choices, but they all have differeent levels of functionality. Does anyone have experience with:
1. Shark sold by Rockler
2. CarveWright
3. Entry level Shop Bot
I know that this is not an apples-to-apples comparison. but if I can get good feedback on each system from different folks, it would help me to make a decision.
I appreciate it.

The support network associated with the Shopbot is cult-like. You're right, there is no comparison to the other choices you've listed.

I am not overly comfortable building one myself. I would rather work wood than build CNC machine. I also realize that those 3 machines all have diff pros and cons. I am hoping to get to some feedback on what others really liked or disliked.
I saw that they have a kit to convert the legacy to CNC. It only fits on a few models, and costs $4500.
