Jeep, I buy most of my clock parts and supplies through Klockit, in Geneva, Wisconsin. I keep their catalog on file and buy via phone, but I'm sure if you do a search for Klockit, they doubtless have a website. They're good people to deal with and have a wide selection of both battery and mechanical movements, dials and hardware. They also offer kits, but I never build from kits.
thanks, i'll check em out
Jeep, here is another link as well, although I have used Klockit, find them to be very good.

jeep,
Jon is right. Their website is http://www.steebar.com; evidently they do all the web deals for clockit.

Also Green Lake Clock Co., http://www.greenlakeclock.com/. The guy who runs it is very knowledgeable and willing to help. Excellent source.
thanks guys
Jeep, at this years woodworking conference in Colonial Williamsburg we did tall clocks. There was a presenter there that gave us the name of M.J. Dalton as his source for clock works. Don't know if he has a web address but the number he gave us was 302-337-3333. I believe he is in the Pennsylvania area. Good luck with your clock.
What kind of jeep? Mine, a 2001 XJ, 3" Tera-Flex, 32's, ARB, etc, etc.
