I am making a blanket chest, and would like to use 3/8″ box joints. Should I make the joints on my 10″ table saw using dado blades, or am I better off using my router table.
Thanx,
Paul

Hi Paul:
I prefer to use the tablesaw with a dado blade to cut box joints because I love the little jig Gary Rogowski demonstrates in the video link below. It's pretty easy and quick to set up and start cutting.

I've seen it done a few ways with a router table that work just as well. We have a few jig plans on our site that are pretty slick. BUt I got used to the tablesaw and never thought to try it another way.
