Check out the two bigs lathes at Harbor Freight. They don’t give too much in the way of specs, but the picture and price are nice. Do you think it’s possible that HF? Naw! Well, maybe.

Jeff: Theres a lot of people who swear by those Central Machinery power tools that Harbor Freight sells, I had thoughts of getting one of there Band Saws and did some research on them, there really like by there owners and compare to the Grizzlys, well anyway I ended up getting a very good Deal on a Delta 14 inch band saw instead.. Just my 2 - cents worth...

I've never read anything good about their products either, exept for factory reconditioned tools. These monsters don't look like their usual fare however, and their new cabinet saw looks a lot like some of the pricier ones out there. Maybe something's going on.

Jeff,
Wasn't familiar with their tools so I browsed the site. Those cabinet saws are 3 amp at 230V. They don't give hp, but the contractor saw is 3hp, 7 amp at 230V. It does look good though.
