Hello, So on the website I’ve seen numerous articles about using shellac, but what I dont see is what to either do before (besides the sanding and smoothing) and then after the coats of it have been put on. I’ve never used it before and it looks like a great technique but just trying to figure out where to go after that. I’ve really only used Minwax stains and sealers and recently have tried BLO and finishing wax. Always wanting to try something new. Thanks in advance!

Finish
Shellac can be a sealer or a finish. It can go over stain or just apply it on raw wood. Nothing needs to be done before applying shellac (outside of sanding) but if using it as the final coat you can rub it down with 4-0 steel wool than apply wax and buff.
