Can anyone help with the use and source of barrier materials, used to limit the outgassing from wood products? I am researching a bid for a display case to hold a very valuable ($10M) and very delicate object.

outgassing
I haven't any experience with trying this, but you might look at marine epoxies that remain flexible. They might outgass too much also, but most any 'barrier' will likely outgass also.
The question is how long and what level information should be available from the manufacturer.
Good luck!
Forrest
