Hi Ernie I contact you a while ago to ask you advise on what carving tools I need for this project, you gave me great advice and it turned out not too bad for my first attempt, and about all I had fun doing it.This one is made from Black Walnut. I want to try one out of Oak and Maple in a smaller version I just have to work out the sizes. Thanks again Ernie.

A very nice job it is! Now the thing to do is make more which will improve both your skill and your speed. You will develop your own technique. Thanks for the photo is is always great to see others trying things I write about.
