OK it is time to purchase a Band Saw. Have looked at Grizzly, Powermatic,Jet,Delta. I’m looking for at least a 10″ re-saw and a good size table. Easy to change band saw blades and adjust tension. What is the advice from the experienced/experts.
Would appreciate…no budget constraints..just want accuracy, reliability…etc.

I just ordered the Grizzly G0514X2 and think it is the saw that you will want, especially for resawing. You can spend a lot more but I don't think you will get a better value. Also the customer service at Grizzly is excellent. Spend the extra money on great blades and a bigger workshop.

If no budget constraints, look at the Laguna line.

The Delta 20" has long been the saw of choice in professional shops. It's a big step up from your average small shop machines.

I have recently upgraded my bandsaw from a Delta 14" Industrial 1 1/2 hp hot-rodded with Carter guides and a riser block to a Grizzly GO566 ( 21" ) with a Lennox Wood Master III carbide tipped blade. HOLY COW! The difference in speed, cut quality and sheer power is amazing! re-sawing was never so easy or enjoyable. The Grizzly far exceeded my hopes and expectations, and the Lennox blade is well worth $1 an inch.

If money is not an object then one would be crazy not to consider one of the high end saws from Laguna, Minimax, Agazzani, Bridgewood, etc. I started out with a delta 14" which was good enough, I suppose. Three years ago, I bought a Laguna LT16HD. Best tool purchase I have ever made.
Thanks was leaning to the Laguna and needed validation.

I know a few woodworkers that have Luguna (sp?) saws and they all say the same thing. Best saw on the market, but not very good customer service.

My 'vote' is for Laguna. I've had mine three years w/o any trouble. When I did call with an issue shortly after purchase I got an immediate, helpful response.
Great dust collection - not like the Delta 14". Use a "plumbers boot" (the hardware store) to connect to your DC system.

you might want to look at the steelcity 14" bandsaw get the riser for it.
Stay FAR away from the Delta 14". It's junk.
I wouldn't waste my money on ANYTHING that had a Delta label.
