the motor on my arm saw has croaked
the saw I have is a:
dewalt7749 radial saw 2.5 hp motor and uses 10″ blades.
normally, I would be able to fix the motor on my own but most of the parts are rusted( the saw sat in a barn/workshop for 38+ years and my grandfather said that he had problems with the saw since the day he bought it) now the motor does nothing else but hum.
I am going back down to my grandparents to see if I can get the other radial arm saw that they have to work.
I NEED tips on how to get old arm saw motors to work
(i will give an update if I get either saw to run)
