I assume this machine is available in North America under a different name, anyone recognize it? It takes matrial 25″ wide, BTW. Is it any good?
TIA

John, I have that drum sander, Woodtek name on it. I got it from Woodworkers Supply for 1080. It was 1200, but if you are or tell them you are a new customer you can get 10% off. I think it is a good bargain. Alot of guys on these forums poo-poo these and tell you to get a widebelt, but I dont need to put 5-10 grand into a sander. I'm not a production shop, I am a serious amateur, therefore this is a great tool for me. There are clips that hold the paper on and those could be better, but no problem. Make sure there is no glue or nails or anything before you put something through (it can ruin your paper-7$per drum)and 1/8th of a turn is enough and no more than a quarter turn or the machine can shut down on you. Not good. Also, makes alot of fine dust, you must put a good dust collector on it. Any questions you may have you can email me at [email protected] or call me toll free at 888-499-4729. 9-3pm

Watch out for the different power frequency in Europe (50Hz) which will shorten your motor life. Also for the HEAVY shipping costs

This looks like a Mao Shan machine (Taiwan). Many vendors sell them with their label on them, including General International.
They are a great machine for the price. E-mail Mao Shan and they will give you the names of distributors. Shop around, the asking price varies.
By the way, they also make a dual drum 37" machine which I got new for $1950 (US).
Good luck and have fun...
