Well I guess I will bail on my second set of LN’s and I may just buy the Barr’s. Anyone have any experience with them good or bad?

Nice folks. Nice chisels.
Yes, I bought a set of the cabinet makers chisel about three years ago. I found the edges fold over at the bevel angle they come with. So, I increased the bevel to 30 degrees. It made them better, but the edges still didn't hold out under heavy chopping. I friend of mine order the same set and had the same problems. He sold his. I still use mine for lite paring and holding the garage door open. I've heard others say just the opposite, that they hold an edge. I now alternate between high end Japanese chisels and the LNs. My LNs hold an edge unlike what I've heard a couple people say.
You can return them inside of 1 year if not satisfied. My LN's are going back.
It's been way longer than 1 year. But, I'm satisfied with how the 1" keeps the door open, so I'll keep them. ;-)
