Anyone bought from toolsclearance.com?
They had a posting on Craigslist for a Unisaw for ridiculous low price with no company info. When I responded, I got an email back directing them to their site.
3 different flavors of Unisaw, 1 PM & a Jet, all under $800.
In general their site looks legit, but I can’t find any other references to the company anywhere on the web that I’ve tried.
Apparently located in Libertyville, IL. They mention delivery options, but not too clear on cost.
Any experiences, anecdotes or rumors?

Don,
This seems to be a scam. For more info, go to:

My advice: there are no bargains in woodworking tools. If you think you see one, you are getting scammed. Stick with reputable dealers. If they could sell the stuff cheaper, they would. If you really want cheap stuff, go to Harbor Freight.
Have fun.

The "too good to be true" thought is why I ignored the ad for a week or so, then sent off an email and got the same response quoted in the link you posted.
Someone went to a lot of work to build that website, as it looks pretty good. There's a couple places in the FAQ where the writer clearly isn't a native English speaker, but otherwise it looks pretty legit.
Of course the prices, the fact that there's no address listed, and no info out on the net are the big red flags.
I'm not really in the market for any of those items, though a new Unisaw for the same price as a 30 year old one gives one pause.
Guess I'll avoid the risk.

Don, there are usually a few Unisaws on the Boston Craig's list. I hope this helpsRon in Peabody
I'd stay away from them on Craig's List (the last ad I heard about had been pulled by CL), and I also would shun their web site. People who run scams aren't above putting some kind of spyware or malware into their web site code, methinks.
I was really close to placing my order on their web site : http://www.toolsclearance.com and thought I'd better do a Google search on their web site. I found several postings about them from someone who was about to buy one of their welders at a rediculous price and also found them to be Nigerian Scammers. They claim to be in Libertyville, IL. Contacting the Libertyville Chamber Of Commerce revealed that company doesn't exist in thier community and they also referenced several web scam sites as discussing them.
These folks are nothing but Nigerian Scammers who's web site is hosted in the Netherlands. Do your own research before buying anything.
If it is too good to be true then it usually is!

Their website also states you can pay using "Moneypak". I googled that and that is a scam. Probably nothing is legitimate.
