I know you’re all probably sick of this question but I need some advice.
Which bandsaw should I buy?
1 Delta 28-206 14″ 2 speed 1hp (no fence) $620.00
2 General 90-125 m1 14″ 2 speed 1hp $630.00
3 Rikon 10-320 14″ 1hp 2 speed (no fence) $450.00
4 Rikon 10-325 14″ 2 speed 1.5hp (13″ resaw capability) $750.00
These are machines and prices I have found in my area.
I am a hobbiest but I may try to sell some things in the future. I was hoping to Stay in the $600.00 range…..but I would like to know if the extra .5hp and extra 7″ resaw height on the Rikon 10-325 are worth the extra $$$$. If not, I’m leaning toward the general.
Thanks in advance for any input you might have.

Knight,
Go with the Delta among that group. I doubt the Rikon saw really has any more real horsepower than the Delta, and I seriously doubt you would ever notice any difference that could be attributed to motor power.
The Delta is a known quantity, a good machine with years of good reputation.
You can add resaw capacity later if you need it with a riser block. Don't look for resaw capacity as a deciding factor at this point in your decision-making.
One machine you should look into when talking about machines of this size and capability is the Grizzly. At about $450 you get a very good piece of equipment, 6" resaw capacity (a riser block is available), 1 hp motor, a good fence and performance about equivalent to the Delta.

Thanks Rich, I'll look into the Grizzly.
I have the Grizzly "Ultimate Bandsaw" and am very happy with it.
I also got the riser block which I highly recommend you get if you decide on the Grizz.
You'll need 105" blades if you go with the riser.
Call Suffolk machinery and order some Timberwolf blades and you'll be glad you did.

I'd go with the Delta, I've had good luck with all the tools I've bought from them.
BTW, if you buy the saw before Dec. 31, you can get a free rip fence from Delta:
