Hi,
I have seen the pdf articles on this site for building a crosscut miter sled for a table saw.
I am now making a second sled for doing a 45 degree miter cut, and wonder the best way to align the rear guide to insure it is 90 degrees to the saw blade.
I wasn’t sure if the method of mounting the rear (push) guide board using a square and then cutting a board in half and testing to see if the two pieces align edge to edge perfectly when you flip one of the over. (there’s a video on this site which shows that for a 90 degree cut). It seems like that method may not work well for a miter cut.
hope this makes sense.
thanks!

Mark,
Cut two 45 degree miters with the sled and then place them together to make a right angle corner. Check the corner with a good square, if it is 90 degrees you're good.
