I know there have been discussions about this on this forum in the past, but I’ve been unable to find them.
I’d like to install an air cleaner in my shop. I’ve seen a few models floating around and am leaning towards the Delta 50-875 as it claims to be capable of cleaning a relatively large volume of air fairly quickly and filters out 96% of 1 micron particles.
Does anyone have experience using this or other air purifiers in their shops? Any pointers to other discussions on this same topic? Is anyone familiar enough with this Delta model to know of any problems with it?
Thanks,
Mike

Search the archives. Questions like this come up regularly. You probably already know this, and if not it's covered in previous discussions; this machine is designed to clear the air, but has minimal impact on protecting the woodworker (the dust collector does that).

Skip Delta, Jet and Grizzly, go for a JDS (IMHO).

Mike, many see the JDS ER750 as the best ceiling mounted air cleaner. I thought so and bought two of them for my new 1,100 sq. ft. shop under the house. Pat
ps. ya only get one set of lungs and mine are bad-but I did have a good time. pfh
