It’s no secret that I am a fan of oil finishes, I use this finish on 95% of my work. I’m often asked how I avoid build up of oil in hard to reach areas such as inside corners or splits in live edges pieces. Simple, I use a high pressure air nozzle and blow away excess oil. This is especially helpful when I use the thicker Tried & True varnish oil.
I hope some of you find this helpful.

Not far, a couple inches or so. You can hold a rag over the blow gun while you do this. Follow up with the regular wipe down.
