A more tapered Table Saw Dust port?
Would anyone happen to know if a more tapered tablesaw dust port for contractor saws is made? I am aware of the Dust Monkey kit that Amazon sells, but I really don’t need the back plate as I have already designed one for my saw. I would simply like a more efficient, tapered port for the bottom of my contractor saw. The ones they come with allow so much dust to accumulate inside. It doesn’t make sense to me why the designers wouldn’t make one that had steeper sides and not all the flat areas. Hopefully this makes sense, but I think I am probably out of luck.

Kevin,
No doubt this is more than you wanted, but here's what I did with my contractor saw:
Saw Cabinet
The upper center compartment is V-shaped with a 4" hose connection at the rear.
Design
The design served the purpose of better storage and dust collection as well as being more mobile with the casters.

Bill, thanks for the suggestion. More elaborate than what I initially thought of, but you have me thinking now. Maybe I should look into a different base and building the DC into it. thanks again.
