Knew Concepts - Fretsaw
The tension is easy to set and lockThe Tension is Easy to Set and Lock
Many furniture makers have a fretsaw, and typically it is called into action like a coping saw to cut out the waste between dovetails. Although it works well for that basic task, it can do more. With a large throat and a fine-tooth blade, the fretsaw is an age-old tool used to cut shapes in thin material for marquetry and other inlay. The Knew Concepts fretsaw is undoubtedly an improvement on the old standard. The frame doesn’t flex as much as a coping saw, so you can up the tension for better control. And the tension is easy to set and lock. The saw is thoughtfully engineered and well made. For a host of fine cuts in small spaces, this is a great tool.
