General Finishes High Performance is a waterborne finish that has a good vertical sag measure. Its application properties are exceptional. It has excellent brushing and sanding properties. It also has excellent spraying properties, where thinning of no more than 15% is needed to achieve good atomization. This product performed exceptionally well on the adhesion test. It is moderately hard and has good food-stain resistance, although it did poorly in terms of heat resistance.  General Finishes High Performance is light yellow in color and has transparent clarity. This finish was a dream to work with. It brushed and sprayed easily, it dried flat, it had great protection except from heat, and it looked good. It has everything you could ask for in a finish, except for price. General Finishes High Performance was chosen as the best overall finish.
