A great saw. The soft start reduces circuitbreaker trips, and the electronic brake is a first-rate safety feature. The fence and side-support extension are smooth and solid. The stand is solid and ingeniously designed, requiring only one motion to fold and unfold. Slipping the saw into the back of an empty pickup is easy, but you’ll need help lifting it onto a pile of plywood. Also, while going up and down stairs, the stand can ride on the stair treads, possibly damaging finished treads if you’re not careful.

I have a one car garage that serves as my shop, storage area, and also houses my wife's gardening tools and supplies. This saw is a great fit for me since it folds up easily and is easy to transport. It cuts through some thick pieces of hard maple like butter. I did replace the miter gage, and the blade. For my needs this tool has been a great purchase.

Love this saw - very, very accurate and easy to set up. Guard goes on/off quickly and accurately (doesn't require resetting every time). Fence is good, if a little short.Only two downsides: the miter gauge is lousy; I replaced with an Incra miter gauge, and life is good... Other issue is the aluminum table. Not that it's not a good table, it's just not iron <sigh>. No magnetic clamps.Other than those two small issues, I couldn't be happier with this one.

The saw is easy to set up and extremely portable. My shop has multiple uses; it's easy to move around and fairly solid when set up. It has beaucoup power; the arbor lock makes blade changes a breeze. It is a little unstable when I was cutting up 4X8 3/4 plywood, but once I got it down to size, it worked flawlessly. I bought the unit and several accessories directly from Bosch; everything arrived piecemeal and the assembly and instruction manual were missing. After a few phone calls, they sent me the manual (from a laser printer) which I could have downloaded from the site myself. I'm really pleased with the saw, although you can't fully collapse the left side extension add-on without extending the right side of the table. I ordered some zero clearance inserts and a dado insert; I got the zero clearance inserts and have been waiting ten days for the dado insert. The machine is great but the shipping a delivery by Bosch leaves something to be desired.Karlos
