This Philadelphia highboy, made of walnut with curly walnut drawer fronts, is an exact reproduction of a piece Bork’s clients saw in Treasures of State (out of print). All of the boards were handplaned. The case is joined with hand-cut dovetails. It took Bork approximately 10 weeks to complete the piece. The finish is shellac and tung oil.
