I built this entertainment center console for my brother and his new wife as a wedding gift. The bulk is birch plywood with solid maple trim. They wanted a country look. I brought it in a bit from the country with the handles.

Minwax Dark Walnut stain, 3 coats poly, waxed top, sides, and shelves.

Measures 54 W x 24 H x 18 D

I took the design from Marc Spagnuolo's video workshop and combined it with some others. There are no sliding doors on this piece.

This is my first large scale piece. The learning curve was a fun adventure.

My biggest compliment so far was when my cousin was helping unload it from my dad's CR-V and he asked "Where did you buy this?" He did mean that in a positive way.
