It took about a bajillion clamps for each stage of the glue-ups.

My mother-in-law recently asked me to make her some corbels.  She told me the sizes and I didn’t think anything of it.  However, when I started designing I realized the 18”x18” she asked for was no joke.

These are what I came up with.  Nothing ornamental or overly fancy, they were just fun to make and provided another place to practice making knee braces.  They are made of reclaimed white and red oaks.  The end dimensions are 460mm tall on both legs, 75mm thick, and 120mm wide.
