English Style Bracket Clock (Mahogany)
comments (4) December 22nd, 2009 in Reader's Gallery
I designed and built this Mantel Clock for my inlaws this holiday after looking up some pictures of old english style bracket clocks. They love old-fashioned style things, especially made with exotic woods. And small Clocks make great gifts. The body is solid African Mahogany with Antique Brass Hardware. Joinery is Dadoes and locking Rabbits. The finished clock is about 10" tall X 8" wide and 4" deep. Finish is natural oil (Pure Linseed "Tried and True"). This project was a real pleasure to work on. -TLR
