Free Plan: Minimalist Router Table
comments (0) April 6th, 2009 in blogs
Simplicity is key in this no-frills router table. Many are highly engineered, bulky, and take a long time to build. But this one is uncomplicated and quick-to-make--just 20 minutes.
Designed by furniture maker Doug Stowe, it’s just a router mounted upside down on a piece of plywood. To use the table, simply clamp it to your workbench with wooden hand screws.
When you’re done, just unclamp the whole fixture and store it out of the way to save space--ideal for small, cramped shops.
