A friend of mine is just getting into woodworking. He bought a bench top saw but I told him to forget about the stand, we will build it. This is the result. The cabinet is five feet long and 26" deep. I built in the router table as well to keep things compact and easy to use. Storage below for more routers and other accessories for the saw as well. Next we will add on an outfeed deck. We also built a cabinet for a bench top planner. Both are on casters for easy movment.

EagerlyLearning_Sue EagerlyLearning_Sue writes: Hi Dean, your design is really attractive and functional! I'd so love to have a few details so I can try to make one similar to yours. I have a similar jobsite Dewalt table saw, and I just bought a Rockler's router table top, fence, and Incra lift, so I'm looking to build the cabinet beneath. I like how you left space beneath the router for easy access. Do you have any blueprint sketches or additional dimensions you can post, or perhaps some photos of how you assembled the inside? (I'm still learning so any info is helpful!)

p.s. Since you are Navy...this was my uncle - USS John A Moore. The frigate named after him was retired in the 1990s in San Diego.

GrenadaBarefoot GrenadaBarefoot writes: I don't really have any plans for the router table but I can collect the dimensions and lay it out. I really sort of build things as I go. I know that sounds a bit odd but it works for me. I'll post the dimensions in a day or two.
Glad you liked the posts.
Cheers,
Dean
