Watch as 11year-old Isaac Ashdown shows how he cuts a dovetail joint during this year's Woodworkers Showcase in Saratoga Springs. From careful lay-out to chopping waste, Isaac fashions a well fitting joint that is a mark of a craftsman.

Isaac's father, David Ashdown is an instructor at the Maplewood Center for Common Craft, located in Greenwich, New York, and said Isaac has been serious about woodworking for the past two years. David also explained that one of the Center's missions is to introduce woodworking hand skills to children through a variety of programs designed to help parents teach their kids about woodworking and other hand crafts.
