Arts and Crafts ChairFurniture maker Kevin Rodel walks through the design and construction of this sturdy and comfortable Arts and Crafts dining chair featured as a project in Fine Woodworking #190.

Filmed in his workshop near Brunswick, Maine, Rodel also demonstrates how to cut and assemble the parts for the decorative curved back splat, which Rodel calls "the visual anchor of the chair."
