WWIA in Valley Forge, PA – Oct. 2-4
Hi Folks,
There is a Woodworking in America conference planned for Oct. 2-4 and was wondering who might be going to it? It’s focused on hand tools and techniques so would be of much interest to me and am seriously considering it. Gotta get a wiggle on though – space is limited.

I went to the one in Berea, Ky last year. The whole event sold out in two days and it was well worth the price of admission. If you have the opportunity and the schedule of classes interests you, go.

The one in St. Charles IL in August is close to me, but the $375 fee I just can't do.
Yeah, the St Charles one is all about design. Nothing really looked interesting to me. Learning SketchUp would have been nice but I'm not paying $375 to learn SketchUp.

Mike beat me to it. Thanks Mike.
I'm thinking it will give me an opportunity really see and learn how to use hand tools properly. I'm self taught and there's a ton I don't know and see this as an opportunity to learn from some very skilled folks.
I'm so far from anything like this up here in the sticks it would be shame to miss it. Who knows I might find out what sharp really is................
