I have a dozen 1x12by 10 foot highly figured cherry that I want to use for drawer fronts. If I cut to size first and then inject with a hypodermic needle every worm hole I see with wn insecticide do you think I have a good chance of killing all the larva? It seems to me that every worm in a board has to have a hole to the outside of the board.

Except for powder post beetles, most of the worms that attack wood abandon the board once the wood is properly dried so you may not have a problem.
If you have an active powder post infestation you will see small piles of fine powdery sawdust at or below the entrance holes in wood that has been stacked for awhile. So far as I know the best cure for a powder post infestation is to have the wood kiln dried although deep freezing the stock will also work.
Treating the wood with insecticides is usually not practical or effective unless the wood is commercially fumigated. I suspect that your approach might also lead to finishing problems in the vicinity of the holes.
There have been numerous long discussions on this topic in the Knots area. If you go there and search for "bugs" or "powder post beetles" you'll find a lot of opinions and perhaps some useful information.

I do have dust at the holes. Will a home freezer get cold enough to kill the beetles?
