Hello,
I’m new to this, so here goes..
I’m building a small jewlery box out of Ebony. I’ve not worked with this wood before, so I have a couple of questions. Is there any specail glue or method for gluing joints? What is the recommended method for finishing Ebony? I want to bring out and enhance the natural blacks in the wood.
Thank you.

Welcome.
I know there is much conjecture whether you should wipe the gluing surface or not first with acetone to clean it.
Run that question by Gary Rogowski here and see what he says.
Ebony doesn't really require much of a finish on a small box. You may consider a thin coat or two of shellac. After it's dry a light coat of wax applied and buffed will give you a very nice surface.
Good luck.
