I am a self taught woodworker and want to take some really good classes to help with my skills. I have looked at Gary Rowgoski’s school and it looks like what I want. He has two week long classes on joinery construction. The problem is I live on the East coast, Virginia and his school is on the west coast. Does anyone have suggestions for a similar type of school on the east coast?

Have been to Marc Adams school and Kelly Mehlers. Both were excellent.

I've been to both and the both offer excellent courses.
I'm from Virginia and took a few classes at the North Bennett Street School. It's a very good place with really good instruction. http://www.nbss.org
I would also look at The Center for Furniture Craftsmenship in Maine. I've had a course with there head insturtor and he is a true master craftsman.
