Wood Lathe Accessories needed
Hi,
I have a Powermatic Model 3520B wood lathe. I am looking for an 18″ table extension accessory and also the outboard tool rest accessory. My shop is in Poulsbo, Washington so it would be great if I could locate these items on the West coast.
Thanks,
Ron Messersmith

You can order through Rockler. http://www.rockler.com

You can order those accessories direct from Powermatic. I would also recommend the dust collection shroud. It attaches to the banjo and therefore, follows the work. It is a great addition to that lathe...expecially during sanding!
Why do you need the outboard turning rest? The extention can be mounted in the lower position, greatly increasing the swing. I'm not telling you what to do, but you should check that out so you don't buy anything you don't need. These accessories are expensive.

Ron, I just had to say "Hi" after seeing Poulsbo in your post. I'm over on Bainbridge. Hope you find your parts! Have you tried the tool place in Auburn that's near the Jet warehouse (or where it used to be, not sure if it's still there)?? They carry Powermatic and Jet, mostly scratch-n-dent and demos, and might be a source. I can dig up the name if you don't find it.
Also, a longshot maybe: the guy who does machinery repairs at Edensaw came up with a set of cast iron wings for my Jet saw a few years ago, he might be a local connection.
Hi Ron
I wanted to say hi also. I'm in Silverdale. You must be the woodworking shop on Clear Creek? If so, it's nice to see someone making it professionally.
