I purchased a used general 160-2 lathe from a widow. When I got it home I found the motor was bad.. I purchased a new Baldor 1HP motor (L1310). There are no wiring diagrams with the lathe. I contacted General tool in Quebec, but for some reason they would not give me a wiring diagram. I need to wire this lathe. Does anyone have a wiring diagram or know where to go to get this lathe wired? The motor on the lathe was a farm motor. The motor purchased is the one General reccomended.

Contact Baldor, not General, Baldor is the manufacturer of your motor, make sure you give them the model/SN of your motor.
Motor
You should find a diagram on the underside of the lid or cover of the junction box on the motor.
