I am making a large wall unit unit using frame and panel construction for the drawer fronts and doors. I was thinking about trying to “lighten up” this large unit by using wire grate and curtains for the door panels rather than solid wood. Does anybody know where I can find this kind of hardware, the wire grate and curtain hanging hardware? I couldn’t find anything in the woodworking catalogs and I dow’t really know where to go next. Home Depot? Cloth and Fabric stores?

Have you tried Rockler and Van Dyke's?
I just looked at Van Dyke's web site - all kinds of wire grille.

Exactly what I wanted. (Rockler, right under my nose.)
Glad to help!
