Williams and Hussey Molding maker quest.

I have a W&H molding maker and I forget who it was..told me in a post about a simple jig he made to make eliptical/round moldings. W&H sells one for about $600 and this guy said he made one for about thirty bucks. Anyone have a plan for this???

Can't you just look at the picture and wing it. I don't know of any plans for this offhand but it's a fairly simple jig. Half the fun is figuring how to improvise with stuff laying around the shop.

It was Stan, the stairbuilder, over in Breaktime who mentioned the jig. I thought I had saved that discussion but again the computer tricked me and I lost it. And all of the other good stuff at the old forum.

hey andy- yeah that was my post about 3-4 months ago, this gentleman seemed to have the jig he made. he was going to send pictures and the info. but there was a no show, look in the archives under kipcarp maybe you could follow up, any success let me know. cheers the bear
