I don't know if they will
I don't know if they will sell any, but you might want to check out Clark and Williams website, and ask them. They make all of their planes out of the stuff, and probably know of a source or two.

Jef, those guys were down here a few months ago, and that was one thing that Larry W ask me about. He said they are having a hard time finding it too.
I have mentioned to some of the timber managers down where I grew up and hunt, but they are not interested in anything other than selling truckloads, not to mention short hauling distance.
My little favorite stretch of creek woods for hunting has lots of big trees, but they all are too close to the creek to be legally cut.
Hi Jim, I have a WoodMizer and solar kilns and have just purchased two nice beech logs with the idea of cutting plane blanks. I've had a few inquiries but don't know what size to cut them. Anyone who can offer some suggestions? Thanks, Gary
Gary,
Did you ever cut them beech logs up.... I would say 4x4x11 blocks would be good for molding plane's
Would you be willing to part with a few blanks of this size.....????
Thanks
Steve
