I’m a woodworker who is new to the Tucson area. I’m planning a furniture project which reqires clear pine, and the only grade I have been able to find is D-select. I can use D-select for most of the project, but I need some B or C select for some of the trim.
Anyone out there from Tucson who can steer me to a good source?

WoodRiver Router Bit Storage Case
Molded from high impact clear ABS, this WoodRiver® case provides a strong storage solution to keep your router bits safe and dry. The foam insert holds (36) 1/2" bits, (42) 1/4" bits, and (6) 8mm bits. The included rechargeable 150-gram desiccant bag keeps bits dry and rust free. When the window of the desiccant bag turns pink, simply place it in a microwave for 4 minutes to recharge.
Skilsaw SPT88-01 Miter Saw
This saw performs as well as the others, but its price and inconveniences make it hard to recommend. As far as the positives go, the handle is comfortable to grip. In use, its power switch works for both righties and lefties. However, other ergonomics are OK at best. It’s also another saw with the bevel lock at the back, meaning it’s a reach to get to. The tool has good bevel and miter range. It’s the only worm-drive saw, but I did not notice any difference in cut. The saw cannot sit flush to a wall.

I live in Phoenix and am not sure of all places to purchase wood in Tucson, but there is a Woodcraft store there. It's located at 6230 N. Oracle Rd.
Good luck!

They are in Tuscon and carry have Ponderosa Pine, Alder, Poplar, all of which would probably serve your purposes. I have not dealth with them and their price seem pricy compatred to other parts of the country but when your choices are limited - their limited. You could also contact various cabinet shops and see if they will order/sell to you. I've found that to be workable as wll.
