I have had terrible luck sourcing cabinet-grade hardwood plywood.
Lowe’s has maple with 9 plies (OK) but the surface is (less than) paper thin, shreds if you look at it sideways, and it is still not really flat.
Forget Home Depot, 5 ply max. A few years ago, I found a place off I-80 in the Poconos, and it was even more warped than Lowe’s.
Thanks,
Steve G.

Dubuque Clamp Works Bar Clamps - 4 pack
These clamps are as premium as their price is, but they're worth every penny. A few staffers have a small collection and they're almost always the first clamp they reach for.

DeWalt 734 Planer
One of only two machines with a cutterhead perfectly parallel to its beds, the DeWalt 734 is a very good planer. Knife changes overall were straightforward, but access is difficult because you must remove a Phillips-head screw from under the dust shroud—not an easy task. The dust port on the back of the machine has a 2-1/2-in.-dia. opening but can be hooked up to a 4-in.-dia. hose. Connected to a dust collector, it did an excellent job gathering chips. And because the port exits to the left of the machine, the hose is never in the way of exiting boards. The top of the machine is flat, making it a good place to stack boards between passes.
Double Sided Tape
A thin woven core makes XFasten tape strong yet not too thick (0.008 in.), and helps it hold powerfully without being difficult to peel off.
iGaging Wheel Marking Gauge
Unlike the other inexpensive disk gauges, this one has an O-ring inside the fence. The disk would benefit from some honing, but works as is.

Check out Robert's Plywood in Deer Park, NY, who may deliver to you (if you are buying at least 3-4 sheets or some lumber). They come up to me in Connecticut on Tuesdays and Thursdays and I believe serve New Jersey Monday and Wednesday. They will answer any questions you have about their products; I get all my sheet goods and most of my lumber from them. Simple pre-finished maple for cabinet interiors as well as bookmatched, end-matched, or exotic veneers on MDF or lumbercore plywood. If I'm ever disappointed with a sheet they'll swap it out next time they deliver to me.
I'm not sure how many plies their sheets are but they come to me flat and once a cabinet is screwed together you certainly don't need 11-ply stuff for a strong, stable, square box.
