A search of my local lumberyards and a seach of the internet yielded nothing. Anyone have any contacts where I can buy 4/4 lumber to make up some drawers?
Thanks!
Dan

Dan, where are you located? It's easiest to find this species at mills in the Central Mid-West and mid- Atlantic states (Kentucky, Virginia and Tennessee.) Also, unless your use demands that it be genuine paulownia, catalpa is very similar in appearance and a good substitute. Taxonomist assign them to separate botanical families, but they're not that distantly related.
Dan -- you can contact Barb Gill at http://www.velvitoil.com/index.html. She often has some in Eastern Virginia and is on Knots from time to time.
Jon,
I am located in Vancouver, so I think I will have to order it.

Finally a question I can answer! I see lots of Paulownia within rock-throwing distance from me here; but then, I live in Japan!
